Israeli airline Air Haifa announced Sunday that it is resuming its full regular flight schedule and expanding its international operations, including several new and returning routes from Haifa Airport.
Starting Tuesday, the airline will resume its daily route from Haifa to Athens. Flights to Rhodes are set to begin Thursday, and the domestic route from Haifa to Eilat will restart next Monday, July 7. Additionally, beginning July 13, Air Haifa will operate 10 weekly flights to Paphos, following the lifting of a Shin Bet ban on the destination due to prior “security concerns.”
“After a challenging period during which we operated dozens of rescue flights to bring thousands of Israelis home, Air Haifa is returning to regular operations with convenient and accessible flights directly from the north,” the airline said in a statement. To mark the return to routine, Air Haifa is offering promotional fares in July to Paphos and Larnaca, starting at $99 one way.
A Ynet price check showed a roundtrip ticket to Paphos (July 17–24) available for $318 including a carry-on. A roundtrip to Rhodes (July 3–6) was listed at $398, excluding a carry-on, which costs $25 if booked in advance or $40 at the airport.

The Rhodes and Paphos routes join Air Haifa’s existing network, which includes Athens, Larnaca and Eilat. All flights are operated with the airline’s ATR 72-600 aircraft. As part of its expansion plan, a fourth aircraft is expected to join the fleet in early September, with a fifth added by the end of December.
“We’re excited to bring back smiles along with clearer skies,” said Miki Strassburger, Air Haifa co-founder and deputy CEO. “No traffic jams, no long lines—just short and comfortable flights, as they should be.”
All Air Haifa tickets include one free personal item, and bookings can be changed or canceled up to 24 hours before departure for full credit toward future flights.
