Air France, the national airline of France, will resume daily flights on the Paris–Ben Gurion route starting this Saturday. The carrier also plans to increase its daily flight frequency in the coming months.
In its announcement, Air France stated that flights will be operated using Airbus A350-900 aircraft, offering a dedicated premium economy cabin, lie-flat seats in business class, personal entertainment screens in all classes, and onboard Wi-Fi for all passengers. Tickets for select dates in March start at $522, including a carry-on bag.
Meanwhile, Transavia France, a low-cost subsidiary of the Air France-KLM Group, will return to Israel on January 28.
Lufthansa Group and other carriers join the comeback
On Thursday, Lufthansa Group announced that it will gradually resume flights to and from Tel Aviv beginning February 1, 2025. The group’s airlines – Lufthansa, Swiss, Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, and Eurowings – will collectively restore their services.
British Airways will also return to Israel, resuming flights between Tel Aviv and London on April 5 with one daily flight initially. Starting April 20, the airline will increase to two daily flights.

Irish low-cost giant Ryanair announced plans to operate a full summer schedule for Israel after suspending flights to Ben Gurion Airport since February 2024.
Hungarian budget airline Wizz Air recently expanded its operations in Israel, adding routes to Abu Dhabi, Rome, Milan, London, Warsaw, Krakow and Budapest. The airline had previously operated only its route to Larnaca.
Italian flag carrier ITA Airways will resume flights to Israel on February 1. Additionally, British low-cost airline easyJet plans to return to Israel, starting services on June 1, 2025
