Black Friday comes early: Flights under $200 and hotels up to 50% off

From $189 round-trip flights to Europe and $309 flight-and-hotel packages to Israeli hotel stays starting at NIS 479, November's travel sales promise big savings; here's when to book, what the offers include and how baggage fees can erase the discount

You don't have to wait for Black Friday to find a deal on your next vacation. November opens with a long list of discounts on flights, vacation packages and hotels in Israel as part of the year's biggest shopping month. Among the offers are round-trip flights to Europe for under $200, flight-and-hotel packages starting at $309 per person and a hotel stay for two at the Dead Sea starting at 479 shekels. But not every price that looks attractive at first glance is necessarily a bargain, especially when baggage charges and restrictions on travel dates are taken into account.
The first major shopping event is Shopping IL, Israel's online shopping promotion, which takes place Wednesday and Thursday, November 4–5. China's Singles' Day follows on November 11, Black Friday falls on November 27, and the month concludes with Cyber Monday on November 30. Travel companies, however, are not waiting for those dates, and some promotions have already begun.

Travel website lastminute.co.il is offering a $20 discount on flight bookings costing up to $300 and a $50 discount on flight-and-hotel packages priced above $500. The promotion runs from November 1 to 26.
Issta is also launching November promotions, offering round-trip flights on Israeli airlines for up to $199 per person on selected dates. Examples include an Israir flight to Rome from November 20 to 23 for $189 per person, a flight to Budapest from November 6 to 10 for $196, and a flight to Tbilisi from November 16 to 19 for $189.

For travelers who prefer packages that include accommodation, Issta is offering a Rome vacation from February 11 to 15, 2027, including direct flights and a stay at the four-star Champagne Palace hotel, starting at $309 per person. A Warsaw package from January 17 to 22, including flights and accommodation at the four-star Holiday Inn Warsaw City Centre, starts at $389 per person.
Aviation Links is offering discounts of up to $25 per person throughout November: $25 off vacation packages and organized tours, $15 off round-trip flights from the company's inventory and $10 off other flights. Examples include a vacation in Athens from November 16 to 19, with a four-star hotel and baggage included, for $375 per person; and a vacation in Batumi from November 27 to December 1, including a four-star hotel, baggage and transfers, for $356 instead of $381.
The company is also offering an El Al flight to Tbilisi from December 3 to 6, including baggage, for $383 instead of $398 per person, and an El Al flight to Warsaw from December 23 to 30, including baggage, for $387 instead of $402.
Eshet Tours is offering a 5% discount on vacation packages and organized tours to selected destinations using the coupon code shopil5.
More distant destinations are also included in the promotions. Spirit World Productions is offering a $100 early-booking discount per person on vacations in the Seychelles and Mauritius. The offer is available for bookings made between November 1 and 20, for vacations taking place from December 2026 through April 2027, excluding the Hanukkah holiday period.

For ski enthusiasts, SkiDeal is offering a different kind of benefit. Customers booking ski vacations in Gudauri, Georgia, or Bansko, Bulgaria, for January 7–10 or January 14–17, 2027, will receive shopping vouchers worth 700 shekels to purchase equipment at Columbia stores.

Cruises are on sale too: Up to 40% off

MSC Group is also joining the November sales. MSC Cruises is offering discounts of up to 30% on selected winter sailings departing between November 2026 and April 2027, for bookings made by November 30. Examples include a seven-night Mediterranean cruise aboard the MSC Sinfonia from December 6 to 13, starting at $400 per person in a double-occupancy inside cabin, including service charges and port taxes. Another sailing, coinciding with the beginning of Passover, will depart April 17–24 aboard the MSC Lirica, visiting destinations including Venice, Montenegro and the Greek islands, starting at $620 per person.
MSC Group's luxury brand, Explora Journeys, is offering discounts of up to 40% on cruises booked by December 1, provided the full amount is paid in advance, with no option to cancel or modify the reservation. Travelers who prefer flexibility can choose a fare offering up to 30% off, with a 5% deposit and the usual cancellation conditions. For example, a five-night cruise aboard EXPLORA II from March 20 to 25, 2027, including visits to Malta and the Greek islands, starts at $2,695 per person with advance payment, or $2,905 under the flexible fare.

The flight is cheap, but what about your suitcase?

Alongside the promotions, travelers should remember that the airfare displayed when booking is not always the final price, especially for those planning to return from a shopping vacation with a suitcase full of purchases. An examination conducted by lastminute.co.il found that, for some airlines and fares surveyed, adding a checked suitcase cost an additional $100 to $210 for a round trip.
For example, a Wizz Air flight to Milan with a base fare of $130 rises to $310 after adding a suitcase. For Bucharest, a flight with the same airline increases from a base fare of $149 to $349 with a suitcase, while an El Al flight including a checked bag was available for $345. The conclusion is simple: Before rushing to book the cheapest ticket, check how much the flight will actually cost once baggage is included.

Israeli hotel deals: Up to 50% off

Hotel chains across Israel are also preparing for the shopping month with a range of discounts. Some are available for bookings made during just a few days, although they allow travelers to reserve vacations for the months ahead.
