The Lufthansa Group, which includes Lufthansa Airlines, SWISS, Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, and Eurowings, released new details Wednesday about its planned return to operations in Israel starting August 1.
According to the company’s announcement, "Lufthansa, Austrian Airlines, and Lufthansa Cargo will resume their daily flights between Frankfurt, Munich, and Vienna to Tel Aviv — and back — starting August 1." Brussels Airlines is expected to restart its Tel Aviv route on August 13. In the initial flight schedule, the group plans to operate 44 weekly flights to and from Tel Aviv throughout the month.
Lufthansa will manage the Frankfurt and Munich routes, Austrian Airlines will operate the Vienna route, and Brussels Airlines will handle flights to and from Brussels.

Additionally, SWISS, which had previously suspended its flights to Israel until October 25 due to operational reasons, has moved up its planned return to September 29. Eurowings will continue to suspend its Tel Aviv flights until October 25.
