The airline announced that the cost to bring a carry-on trolley per person, per direction, will increase to $25, up from $20. Checking a first suitcase weighing up to 23 kilograms (about 50 pounds) will cost $50, up from $45. The cost for checking a second suitcase of the same weight will remain $80.
Israir said a promotional rate for checking two suitcases, each up to 23 kilograms, will be set at $90. Checking a suitcase weighing up to 30 kilograms (about 66 pounds) will cost $65, an increase from the current $60.
Fees for advance seat selection will also rise. Choosing a standard seat will cost $18, up from $15, and a preferred seat will cost $55, up from $50.

The airline said the updated prices will apply to bookings made through its website, customer service center, or travel agents, up to nine hours before departure.
The increase marks Israir’s second price hike in six months. On Jan. 1, the company raised the cost of a carry-on from $18 to $20, two checked bags from $70 to $75, and a single heavier bag (up to 30 kilograms) from $60 to $65.
