More than 100 anti-Israel students took control of Columbia University's main library building in New York. The protesters, most wearing masks and keffiyehs, stormed into the main reading hall on the second floor of Butler Library, the central study location on campus. Videos shared on social media show the crowd pushing a security guard while trying to enter the library, while others placed flags on walls, climbed on tables and shouted slogans against "occupation, apartheid and genocide." At least three protesters have been arrested so far. The university stated: "This is a flagrant violation of conduct rules, and we will take significant measures."
