A Brooklyn court approved a lenient plea deal for Miriam Yarimi, who drove without a license and fatally struck an Orthodox Jewish woman and her two daughters in March this year, and critically injured her young son.
Yarimi, 33, will be convicted of manslaughter and sentenced to three to nine years in prison, while the state prosecution opposes the plea arrangement and is seeking a 15-year prison sentence.
