Special UN conference concludes, San Marino also recognizes Palestinian state

San Marino has recognized a Palestinian state, but its representative did not have time to address the French-Saudi conference at the UN, as schedule disruptions prevented all countries from taking the stage. The Saudi representative said in the concluding statement that "The recommendations presented today are not symbolic but reflect the will and responsibility to realize the Palestinian people's right to self-determination and to take decisive steps to end the occupation and make the two-state solution an irreversible reality."
