In his first response since Israel launched its attack on Iran, U.S. President Donald Trump said in an interview with Fox News that "Iran cannot have a nuclear bomb." According to him, "We hope to return to the negotiating table. We'll see what happens. There are some people in leadership who won't return." Trump added that he is following the developments and that the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) is on high alert: "The U.S. will defend itself and Israel if Iran responds." An American official said that Washington still intends to hold talks with Iran on Sunday regarding the nuclear program.
