US: Suspect in Israeli embassy workers' murder pleads not guilty in first hearing

Terrorist Elias Rodriguez, charged with the murder of Israeli embassy employees in Washington, Sarah Milgrim and Yaron Lishinsky, pleaded not guilty during his first court hearing. According to the indictment, Rodriguez shouted "Free Palestine" when he opened fire at the embassy last May. He faces nine charges, including first-degree murder and hate crime resulting in death. The prosecution stated it has turned over more than one million pages of evidence to the defense, with the next hearings scheduled for December. At this stage, prosecutors have not indicated they will seek the death penalty.
