The White House denied the Washington Post report claiming President Donald Trump threatened to "abandon" Israel if it doesn't end the war.
An official source told Ynet: "This is false. The idea that we would abandon Israel is preposterous." Additionally, White House National Security Council spokesman James Hewitt told Ynet in response to the report that "Israel has had no better friend in its history than President Trump. We continue to work closely with our ally Israel to ensure remaining hostages in Gaza are freed, Iran never obtains a nuclear weapon, and to strengthen regional security in the Middle East."
