U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem wrote on X that "Two Israeli Embassy staff were senselessly killed tonight near the Jewish Museum in Washington DC."
Noem said the department is "actively investigating" and is working to obtain more details. "We will bring this depraved perpetrator to justice," she said.
