The Pentagon is considering sending 10,000 additional troops to the Middle East to provide U.S. President Donald Trump with more "military options." This was reported by The Wall Street Journal, citing sources at the Department of Defense familiar with the plans. According to the report, the force would likely include both infantry and armored vehicles. If deployed, the troops would join approximately 5,000 Marines already in the region as well as thousands of additional troops from the 82nd Airborne Division that were sent.
