US: Pentagon leaker sentenced to 37 months in prison over Israeli strike on Iran

Pentagon document leaker Asif William Rahman has been sentenced to 37 months in prison for transferring highly classified security information to individuals not authorized to receive it. According to the US Department of Justice statement, the documents Rahman leaked "were published on social media last October and included information about planned actions of a foreign state - a US ally - against a regional enemy." According to the charges, on October 17, 2024, Rahman printed two classified documents regarding a possible Israeli strike on Iran, photographed them and transferred them to unauthorized individuals.
