U.S. President Donald Trump said it is difficult to ask Israel to stop the war because it is winning. Responding to reporters' questions while descending from Air Force One in New Jersey, Trump said: "If someone is winning, it's a bit harder to do that (stop the fighting) than if someone is losing." On the decision whether to join the fighting, he said: "We need to see what happens. When you look at it, Israel is succeeding in the war, I think you can say that Iran is less successful." Trump also noted that he might support a ceasefire.
