A group of Democratic Congress members introduced legislation titled the 'West Bank Violence Prevention Act' in response to National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir's visit to the United States. The proposal aims to codify former President Joe Biden's executive order and reimpose sanctions on organizations and individuals involved in violence, including settler groups that Ben-Gvir is accused of supporting. New York Representative Jerry Nadler, in the bill's explanatory notes, called Ben-Gvir a 'racist, terrorist and Jewish supremacist,' and accused him of bringing his 'brand of hate' to the United States.
