Magen David Adom reported that the man was hurt by debris propelled by the blast. Footage and images from the scene showed extensive destruction, with several vehicles engulfed in flames and residential buildings sustaining visible damage. A separate impact was also reported in Haifa.
The Israel Defense Forces said it would issue new call-up orders (Tzav 8), and extend operational reserve duty to approximately nine weeks due to the continued war and the expansion of ground operations in southern Lebanon. According to the IDF, the updated deployment schedule applies both to reservists currently serving and to those expected to be called up in the coming cycle. Some orders will be advanced and adjusted from their original dates.
The directive is part of an upcoming rotation intended to replace forces that have been carrying out missions since the launch of Operation Roaring Lion. The military also distributed an updated operational timeline for reservists, outlining expected service patterns through the coming months and into the end of 2026.
