NY judge dismisses lawsuit against ZOA head Morton Klein

A New York judge has dismissed a lawsuit against Morton Klein, longtime president of the Zionist Organization of America, brought by two former board members who accused him of financial misconduct and weakening the group’s role following the October 7 Hamas attacks. Judge Arthur Engoron - who previously fined President Donald Trump $355 million - cited “gaping holes” in the plaintiffs’ case. Klein, who has led the ZOA since 1993, was represented by Trump’s former personal attorney, Marc Kasowitz, and called the ruling a “complete vindication,” dismissing the suit as a smear campaign by disgruntled colleagues. The plaintiffs, Brian Grodman and Paul Tartell, had claimed Klein inflated his salary, sidelined dissent, and turned the once-prominent group into “a joke.”
