Trump on Mamdani's promise to arrest Netanyahu: 'We didn't discuss it, but he has his own opinions'

In a joint conversation with journalists, U.S. President Donald Trump was asked about New York City Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani's promise to arrest Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
"We didn't discuss it," the president responded, "but he has his own opinions. Who knows? Maybe he'll change."
Mamdani was asked about accusing the American administration of committing genocide in Gaza, to which he replied: "I spoke about the Israeli government committing genocide and the United States funding it. I shared with the president during our meeting the concern of many New Yorkers who want their tax money directed toward benefiting the city."
