Trump: 'Houthis agreed to stop attacks - so our operation has ended'

U.S. President Donald Trump said during the Saudi-American Investment Forum in Riyadh that 'as I've proven time and time again, I'm ready to resolve past conflicts and create new partnerships for a more stable and better world – even when our differences are significant. I will always prefer peace and partnership when they can be achieved.' Referring to the Houthis in Yemen, he said they 'agreed to stop attacking commercial ships – so our operation has ended. It was a quick, powerful, decisive and highly successful operation – we struck with force, achieved our goal, and then – we left.'
