DC Police: 'Two injured in embassy shooting in addition to fatalities, suspect from Illinois'

Washington DC Police Commander Pamela Smith stated in a press briefing that two people were wounded in the shooting outside the Jewish museum in the city, where two embassy employees were killed.
According to Smith, "Initial investigation indicates that the two victims were leaving an event at the museum, located in the 500 block of 3rd Street Northwest, when the shooting occurred. We believe the shooting was carried out by a single suspect, who is now in custody. The suspect has been preliminarily identified as Elias Rodriguez, 30, from Chicago, Illinois."
