Two men were stabbed outside an Orthodox synagogue on Manhattan's Upper West Side. The local police reported that both were evacuated in stable condition and that they arrested a person suspected of involvement. According to the Anti-Defamation League, one of the two injured was wearing a kippah, and eyewitnesses reported that the attacker shouted "Allahu Akbar." City Council Speaker Julie Menin described the incident as an "antisemitic stabbing" and noted that "the fear in the Jewish community is real, and every New Yorker deserves to feel safe in their neighborhood regardless of their faith or identity."
