Trump: Agreement with Columbia University 'historic,' it must protect student rights

U.S. President Donald Trump addressed the agreement with Columbia University, under which it will pay a $200 million fine to settle claims of insufficient handling in preventing harassment against Jewish students.
Trump called the agreement "historic," adding that the university committed "to end the ridiculous diversity and inclusion policy," to admit students "based on merit only" and to protect the rights of students on campus.
