Survivor of Hamas captivity Noa Argamani met Argentine President Javier Milei on Sunday during the celebrations surrounding U.S. President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration.
Argamani thanked Milei for his public support of Israel and his calls for the release of hostages held by Hamas, including Argentine citizens.
During their meeting, Argamani praised Milei for his commitment to the issue and congratulated him on receiving Israel's prestigious Genesis Prize. She urged him to continue his advocacy until every hostage is freed.
Milei reaffirmed his commitment to supporting hostage families, saying that his actions stem from "a genuine and sincere place, as it is the right thing to do." He emphasized the international importance of the issue and acknowledged the plight of the Bibas family, Argentine citizens held captive by Hamas.
