The New York State Department of Education announced it will halt public funding to three ultra-Orthodox yeshivas in Brooklyn for failing to meet core curriculum standards.
Parents were instructed to find alternative educational arrangements for the next school year.
The funding suspension will affect transportation, meals, textbooks and enrichment programs.
Last month, the department similarly cut funding to two other yeshivas for non-compliance.
