White House spokesperson Karoline Leavitt said "Prime Minister Netanyahu expressed interest in coming to the White House, meeting with the president and visiting Washington but there is no date yet. The president is of course very open to it." Leavitt added that "the president definitely hopes that more countries in the region will join the Abraham Accords. We want to see long-term peace in the Middle East – and this is the way to achieve it. When the president met with the new president of Syria, one of his requests was – that Syria sign the Abraham Accords."
