Israeli citizens were arrested following increased immigration enforcement operations in Los Angeles, following riots that broke out in the city yesterday. Some Israelis were in the U.S. on tourist visas but violated their terms of stay or raised suspicion during routine checks. Consul General to the Southwest United States, Israel Bachar, warned that "Israeli tourist visa holders need to be aware of increased enforcement, and those who violate regulations may face extended detention." President Donald Trump deployed National Guard forces to the city yesterday, with 45 protesters arrested so far.
