Witkoff spoke with Netanyahu: 'Nuclear Iran is an existential threat to Israel'

Steve Witkoff, U.S. President Donald Trump's envoy to the Middle East, said he spoke on the phone with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu last night. Against the backdrop of escalating tensions in the Middle East, Witkoff said, "Iran must never be allowed to enrich uranium or develop any nuclear capabilities. A nuclear Iran is an existential threat to Israel. Iran possessing large quantities of missiles is no less an existential threat than the nuclear threat. And it is an existential threat to the U.S., to the free world and to all Gulf states." Witkoff delivered his remarks at the annual gala event of United Hatzalah organization, held on Wall Street in New York, attended by about 1,100 guests.
