U.S. President Donald Trump confirmed to reporters that Iran is interested in de-escalating the war with Israel. At the G7 summit, he was asked by journalists if he had received such messages, to which he replied, "They would like to talk, but they should have done it earlier, they had 60 days. Iran is not winning this war. They need to talk immediately, before it's too late." Additionally, he was asked what would cause the U.S. to intervene militarily in this conflict, to which he responded: "I'm not talking about that."
