Israeli professor Shai Davidai, one of the most prominent pro-Israel voices on Columbia University campus in New York, has left the academic institution. This is according to an internal email from the dean of the business school obtained by ynet. Both Davidai and the university refused to comment or detail the terms of their agreement. Following the October 7 massacre, Davidai attacked the university administration over what he described as its lack of response to anti-Israel demonstrations on campus and accused protest activists of antisemitism. Last year, he was even banned from entering the campus, with claims that he "repeatedly harassed and intimidated employees." This morning, Davidai posted on X that the university's investigation into his case has concluded and that he has been cleared of all charges.
