US bill proposal: Trump could authorize Israel to use American B-2 bombers

Members of Congress from both parties have submitted a bill to the U.S. House of Representatives that would grant President Donald Trump authority to give Israel access to stealth B-2 bombers and bunker-buster bombs if it is determined that Iran continues to develop nuclear weapons. According to the proposal, which is still awaiting approval, this would be an unprecedented operational cooperation initiative – including deployment, equipment and training – but without transferring permanent ownership or direct control of the stealth bombers to Israel, which the U.S. has never handed over to foreign entities.
