US Army opens inquiry into alleged misconduct by top CENTCOM general

The U.S. Army launched on Friday an investigation into Gen. Michael Kurilla, commander of U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM), over allegations he acted aggressively toward a crew member during a flight to Israel in September.
The Army's Criminal Investigation Division confirmed that Kurilla, a key figure in Middle East operations, reportedly had a heated confrontation with an airman about communications and logistical issues on the plane.
Kurilla allegedly "lost his temper" when the crew member asked him to remain seated and buckle his seatbelt for safety, reportedly pushing the airman.
