A British teenager who accused 12 Israelis of gang-rape in Cyprus last year said she had consensual sex with one of the youths, who then called on the rest of the group to join in on the act that lasted over half an hour.
The UK woman, aged 19 at the time, was in January given a three-months suspended sentence by a district court in Paralimni for falsely accusing the Israeli teens of sexually abusing her.

She was arrested after police said she withdrew an accusation that the Israeli teenagers raped her in a hotel room at the holiday resort of Ayia Napa in mid-July of 2019, and was charged with public mischief.
In an interview with Channel 13, the woman - whose name can't be made public and who is now back in England - said the fateful evening started when the Israeli teen with whom she had a four-day holiday romance earlier that week, saw her out with her British friends.
"I went with just him to his room, there was no one else there," she told Channel 13. "He wasn't really talking on the way, he was like, 'Come on.' I said 'it's just us, right?' and he said 'yeah it's just us.'"
The woman said once in the Israeli teen's room, she noticed right away the beds had been rearanged and put closer together. "It didn't look the same as how it normally looked."
She said the teen wasn't talking and was kissing her, eager to have intercourse. "I was trying to speak to him but he didn't understand much English and I don't think he really cared."
"We were kissing and we went on to have consensual sex and then he shouted for his friends to come in. All of these Israelis come in and they were recording at this point. I said 'you told me no one would be here, I'm leaving, I'm going now.'"
She then said the teen got on top of her and put his knees oh her shoulders so she couldn't breathe or scream. "I was in and out [of consciousness] and I couldn't understand what was going on around me."
The Israeli youths, she said, held her legs down and took turns in raping her. "It was very quick for each person, they were kind of arguing over who would go next ... It happened over half an hour."
The woman said she finally could break free when the teen lifted his knees off of her shoulders in order to tell others to bring more condoms. "I managed to be able to breathe, so I took a big gasp of air and pulled myself to the edge of the bed and crawled out. They were trying to block the door but I managed to get through."
Medical examiners found at least 10 sperm samples on the woman, while out of the 12 Israelis arrested later, only seven had matching DNA, indicating the other three had fled the resort island shortly after.
The woman said she had been forced to sign a confession that she made up the accusations after the investigator working on the case told her the police would arrest her British friends, who were with her on the holiday, if she didn't.
The Israeli teens were released shortly after, while the woman was indicted for making up the accusation and spent the next six months awaiting sentencing in Cyprus.
Channel 13 also said the teen who enticed her into his room is a soccer player who is now in negotiations with a top Israeli team, while another youth is a son of a top official in the Jerusalem Municipality who is said to personally know Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
The names of the Israeli teens cannot be disclosed legally since all the youths were below the age of 18 at the time of the incident.
