Noa Kirel sings 'Hatikvah' for Brooklyn Nets game after moment of silence for Hamas victims


The NBA's Brooklyn Nets played an exhibition game on Thursday night against the Israeli National League team Maccabi Ra'anana at Barclay's Center. Before the game the Nets fans and players held a minute of silence in memory of the Israeli victims of the massacre by Hamas, after an announcement that the team "condemns the the terrorist attack and the loss of life in Israel." Popular singer Noa Kirel sang the national anthem wrapped in the state flag, and ended with "Am Yisrael Hai." (Daniel Edelson, New York)
