Violent riot broke out at UC Berkeley over Gaza war

Dozens of pro-Palestinian activists demonstrated on the campus of the University of California, after the deputy director of the Kohelet Policy Forum, Ran Bar-Yoshafat, arrived to speak to students about Israeli advocacy. The protestors tried to prevent students from entering the hall and shouted "global intifada," and a violent riot broke out. A Jewish student said: "They grabbed me by the neck and pushed me against the wall. A student shouted at me 'dirty Jewess' and spat on me."
