U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris met last night with leaders of the Arab-American community in Michigan and "listened attentively" to the hosts' requests, who urged her to "distance herself from the Biden administration's pro-Israel policy and increase pressure to end the war in Gaza." The meeting, held behind the scenes of her presidential campaign rally in Flint, lasted about 20 minutes. According to participants, the Vice President did not promise anything but noted that she is also "interested in ending the war and will do everything in her power to achieve that."
