IDF said troops from the 401st Brigade combat team identified armed Hezbollah terrorists overnight during operations in southern Lebanon, who engaged the forces and fired an anti-tank missile at them.
The troops responded with fire and killed the attackers in a ground encounter, the military said.
A combat officer was lightly wounded during the clash and was evacuated to a hospital for treatment. His family has been notified.
