Filming of TV series at NYU halted over protest

Filming of the series "FBI: Most Wanted" was halted after pro-Palestinian protesters rioted on the set at the City University of New York (CUNY) in Queens. The demonstrators, from the "CUNY4PALESTINE" organization on campus, protested against a fake protest camp set up for the purpose of filming, claiming that it was an attempt to demonize and exploit the student protest. As part of the production of the episode, the set designers of the series created an exact replica of the encampments set up on campuses across the U.S., with tents, posters and signs - but with slogans against climate change, and not against Israel or the war in Gaza.
