Six-story building collapse in Tel Aviv injures one, damages four apartments

Officials said the incident is not related to the war with Iran, and the cause of the collapse remains under investigation

The top floor of a six-story building collapsed Wednesday afternoon on Simtat HaShuk Street in Tel Aviv, causing extensive damage to four apartments and injuring one person.
A woman was pulled from the building conscious and in moderate condition, according to Magen David Adom.

The collapse was reported to emergency services at 12:35 p.m., prompting rescue teams to search the structure for additional victims. Searches were ongoing.
Authorities said the building was apparently undergoing urban renewal work under Tama 38, an Israeli program to reinforce older buildings against earthquakes.
