Columbia University reaches settlement with Jewish students who alleged antisemitism

Barnard College, Columbia University's women's school in New York and one of the main strongholds of pro-Palestinian protests, announced it has reached a settlement agreement with Jewish students and legal organizations that alleged antisemitism on campus. According to the agreement, the school has committed to appointing a special coordinator to handle discrimination cases, will require all staff and students to undergo antisemitism training and will issue an annual message of zero tolerance for discrimination, including based on Jewish or Israeli identity. Additionally, the university's women's school clarified that it will not recognize groups that support boycotting Israel.
