The Gaza Humanitarian Fund (GHF) expressed 'disappointment' in response to CEO Jake Wood's resignation, but announced that despite this, the fund's aid distribution to the Strip will begin today. The fund stated that 'unfortunately, from the moment the fund was announced, those who profit from the status quo were more focused on destroying this initiative than providing aid.' Nevertheless, they added: 'We are not deterred. Our trucks are loaded and ready to go. Starting today, May 26, the fund will begin direct aid shipments to Gaza, reaching more than a million Palestinians by the end of the week.'
