The U.S. administration has notified Congress of two arms deals with the United Arab Emirates, totaling approximately $1.45 billion. The first deal includes six transport helicopters, while the second involves F-16 aircraft maintenance. The helicopters, equipped with advanced defense capabilities, are intended for rescue missions, humanitarian aid and counter-terrorism operations. The deal also includes communication systems, electronic warfare equipment, surveillance cameras and weapons. According to the Pentagon, the sale will maintain 'the security superiority of an important regional ally and will not disrupt the regional balance of power.'
