The Gaza Humanitarian Fund (GHF) has announced the appointment of Reverend Dr. Johnny Moore as the organization's chairman. Moore, who serves as chairman of the public committee at the University of Haifa's Religious Studies Laboratory and previously served as a commissioner on the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom under President Donald Trump's appointment, joins amid the fund's expanding activities in Gaza. Amid numerous negative reports in global media, Moore stated that caution must be exercised against spreading misinformation about the fund's activities, which could deter residents from receiving aid. Acting CEO John Akery noted that the appointment is intended to strengthen the organization's leadership as it expands.
