A 24-year-old woman was killed in a bungee jump in São Paulo, Brazil, after being thrown from a height of about 35 meters without being properly attached to the safety equipment. This was reported by CNN Brazil. The operators of the attraction tried to flee the scene after realizing their mistake. Witnesses documented the incident, and in the video they can be heard screaming when they realized the young woman was thrown from the bridge without the safety cord. They said the instructors from the operating company, Entre Cordas, realized it too late, and then remained motionless for a long moment. When they understood the cord was not attached, they tried to leave the scene but were later apprehended by local police. However, no arrests have been made so far.
