Wixel tool combines advanced AI with a user-friendly interface to help users generate, edit and customize visual assets quickly

Website building company Wix.com Ltd. on Thursday unveiled Wixel, a new standalone artificial intelligence-powered design platform aimed at making high-quality visual content creation accessible to users without professional design experience.

“Design is in our DNA, and simplifying complex experiences is what we do best,” said Wix co-founder and CEO Avishai Abrahami. “We’re now determined to revolutionize design by democratizing access to powerful and creative tools for everyone, regardless of their design expertise.”
Users can upload product photos, enhance them with editing tools, and place them into ready-made templates for use on social media or e-commerce platforms. The platform can also generate images in various styles to match different branding needs. Wix said features like video and story creation are expected in future updates.
