Intel Israel co-CEO Karin Eibschitz-Segal has been appointed interim head of Intel’s data center and AI division following the departure of Justin Hotard, who left to become Nokia’s CEO after just a year in the role.
She will oversee one of Intel’s most critical divisions, responsible for next-generation cloud computing and AI processors. The unit’s struggles in recent years have contributed to Intel’s revenue decline amid competition from Nvidia and AMD in the enterprise AI chip market.

Eibschitz-Segal, 46, a Haifa native, began her career at Intel 22 years ago as a computer science student at Israel's Technion.
