The AIR ONE is a two-seat electric aircraft with a range of about 160 kilometers (99 miles) and a top speed of up to 250 kph (155 mph). It is expected to be delivered after completing certification and the start of mass production later this year.
AIR is currently working to accelerate production ahead of expected certification from the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), which is anticipated this year.
At the same time, the company is already generating revenue from its cargo platform, having sold more than 25 unmanned AIR Cargo aircraft. Two have already been delivered to customers, with more than 20 additional units scheduled for delivery in the coming months.

The company was founded in 2018 by Chen Rosen, Rani Plaut and Netanel Goldberg. In July, it raised $23 million in a funding round led by Entrée Capital, with participation from Dr. Shmuel Harlap, an early investor.
AIR operates production facilities in Kfar Yona and maintains a major presence in Florida. The company employs about 70 people, including 63 in Israel.
Its recent growth has been driven by several strategic moves, including a partnership with Singapore-based engineering giant ST Engineering to expand into the European market, the launch of its first production line and classification of the aircraft under the Light Sport Aircraft category in the United States.
In September 2025, the company’s latest prototype received FAA approval.
“The rapid growth of the smart aircraft market, combined with AIR’s proven capabilities, is expected to transform air mobility in the near term,” said CEO and co-founder Rani Plaut. “Our mission is to make air mobility accessible and everyday, bridging personal, commercial and defense transportation.”
