While Israeli celebrities have swiftly and vocally praised the U.S. strike on Iranian nuclear facilities—applauding both the operation and those behind it—many of Hollywood’s most outspoken figures, particularly those critical of Israel’s actions in Gaza, have remained largely silent so far. However, some reactions have already begun to surface.
British actress Amy Lou Wood, known for The White Lotus, took to Instagram early Sunday with a series of posts criticizing Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Reacting to his speech lauding U.S. President Donald Trump following the strike, Wood wrote, “I feel sick.”
She also reposted critical messages from politicians and commentators condemning the attack and included a graphic reading, “Bombing for peace is like f***ing for virginity.” One of the posts she shared came from a parody account impersonating director Quentin Tarantino—something Wood appeared unaware of.

In contrast, Caitlyn Jenner, who visited Israel last week, expressed strong support for the U.S. operation. “Peace through strength,” she wrote on X (formerly Twitter). “God bless America and our dear ally Israel. Incredible leadership by the President.” Jenner posted an image of the American and Israeli flags and continued to share similar sentiments and supportive posts throughout the day.
Comedian and vocal Trump supporter Roseanne Barr posted enthusiastically: “This is what I voted for!” Actor Billy Baldwin offered a more cynical take, writing: “The people of Iran are beautiful. The leaders of Iran are insane. The people of Israel are beautiful. The leaders of Israel are insane. The people of America are beautiful. The leaders of America are insane.”
Dean Cain, best known for playing Superman in Lois & Clark, also shared posts praising the U.S. airstrikes. More reactions from the entertainment world are expected in the coming hours and days as the situation develops.
