Israeli model Mishel Gerzig and her spouse, Thibaut Courtois, the renowned goalkeeper for Real Madrid, were set to welcome a new bundle of joy just six months after their wedding. The couple's joyous occasion finally became known last week, with them having their first child together, a daughter named Eli.
Eli's birth took place in Spain, home to the couple. The new parents embarked on their romance a year before getting engaged in June 2022 and tied the knot exactly a year later.
Courtois, already a father to two children from his prior relationship with Marta Dominguez, finds himself under the playful scrutiny of Gerzig. After announcing her pregnancy, she expressed curiosity about whether his previous parenting experience would come in handy.
She jokingly said, "We'll see about the diaper-changing and such. I will put him to the test - consider this his as a trial period."
