All's Fair

When and where: November 4, Disney+

Kim plays a divorce attorney who leaves a male-dominated law firm to open a rival, all-women practice. All Her Fault

When and where: November 6, yes
What it's about: Every parent’s worst nightmare comes true. Sarah Snook (Succession) plays a mother who goes to pick up her son from a playdate, only to find a stranger answering the door — and no sign of her child. He’s declared missing, and a police investigation begins. The setup is unsettling by nature, and the execution even more so.

The disappearance of her son, Milo, kicks off a mystery where everyone around her becomes a suspect. Jake Lacy (The White Lotus) plays her husband, and Dakota Fanning is the mother who allegedly arranged the playdate — but claims she never did. Family members and business partners also come under suspicion. In the trailer, Michael Peña (Million Dollar Baby), who plays the lead detective, looks over a wall of suspects and says he can’t believe “people this nice kill each other.” Really? You’re shocked?
Who’s in it: Sarah Snook, Jake Lacy, Dakota Fanning, Abby Elliott (The Bear) and Michael Peña.

Death by Lightning

When and where: November 6, Netflix
What it's about: Think John Lennon and Mark David Chapman — only in the 19th century, and with U.S. President James Garfield. Michael Shannon (Nocturnal Animals) stars as Garfield, while Matthew Macfadyen (Succession) plays Charles Guiteau, the obsessive admirer who ultimately assassinated him.

This four-part thriller is executive produced by Game of Thrones creators David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, who faced the challenge of breathing life into the story of one of America’s lesser-known presidents — best remembered for being one of four assassinated in office. Guiteau shot Garfield just six months into his term.
Who’s in it: Alongside Shannon and Macfadyen are Nick Offerman (Parks and Recreation), Betty Gilpin (Mrs. Davis) and Bradley Whitford (The Handmaid’s Tale).

Pluribus

When and where: November 7, Apple TV+
What it's about: Like Barbie in Barbie or the king in the fable The Wise King, Pluribus spins a familiar tale: “Everyone’s crazy but me.” Rhea Seehorn (Better Call Saul) stars as Carol, the most miserable person on Earth, while everyone else has been infected by a mysterious virus that makes them overwhelmingly happy. She can’t relate to them, and every attempt they make to cheer her up only makes things worse.

Created by Vince Gilligan (Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul) and Seehorn, the series has been deliberately shrouded in mystery to keep viewers guessing. Is it sci-fi? Action? Comedy? Fantasy? Thriller? Horror? The ambiguity — paired with Gilligan’s track record — has made this one of the most anticipated shows of the season.
Who’s in it: Karolina Wydra (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.), Miriam Shor (Hedwig and the Angry Inch), Samba Schutte (Our Flag Means Death) and Carlos-Manuel Vesga.

The Beast in Me

When and where: November 13, Netflix
What it's about: Claire Danes (Homeland) plays a grieving novelist who retreats to a quiet life after the death of her young son — until Neil Jarvis (Matthew Rhys, The Americans), a man suspected of killing his wife, moves in next door.
Drawn to him, she develops an obsession and sees in him the inspiration for her next book — one that could help clear his name, because he seems so nice. He agrees, and the two begin collaborating.

But no one in their orbit thinks the book is a good idea. Red flags fly around their relationship, and soon the FBI gets involved. The series was created by Homeland producer Howard Gordon, reuniting with Danes, who also serves as executive producer alongside Conan O’Brien and Jodie Foster.
Who’s in it: In addition to Danes and Rhys, the cast includes Brittany Snow (Pitch Perfect), Natalie Morales (Dead to Me), Jonathan Banks (Breaking Bad) and more.

Malice

When and where: November 14, Amazon Prime

This six-part psychological thriller begins in Greece and later moves to London, with an atmosphere reminiscent of The White Lotus. The trailer even features a sinister blender. Rumor has it David Duchovny (The X-Files), who plays the family patriarch, bares all within the first five minutes.
Who’s in it: Jack Whitehall, David Duchovny, Carice van Houten (Melisandre from Game of Thrones), Harry Gilby (Tolkien), Christine Adams and more.

The Death of Bunny Munro

When and where: November 21, yes and HOT
What it's about: After Bad Bunny and Bugs Bunny, get ready to fall for Bunny Munro — just don’t get too attached. As the title suggests, it’s not going to end well. Matt Smith (Doctor Who) stars as Bunny, a sleazy and pleasure-seeking cosmetics salesman left to raise his son, Bunny Jr., after his wife dies by suicide.

Based on the novel by Nick Cave, the TV adaptation proved challenging. “My first thought was, ‘I have no idea how to do this.’ Pure panic. There are floating genitals on page one,” admitted screenwriter Pete Jackson.
Who’s in it: Matt Smith, Lindsay Duncan (A Discovery of Witches), David Threlfall (Shameless UK) and more.
